Galactica 2099

As a follow on to an earlier video "Das Trek" will be Galactica 2099. Das Trek was a combination of a Star Trek episode "Balance of Terror" combined with feature length film "Das Boot". First effort at attempting to make 2 completely disparate works meld together story and looks wise. The glue attempted was to render Enterprise and Space ship which resembles a submarine (Modified DY100 model from episode "Space Seed").

New project will attempt to glue together Battlestar Galactica (Original Series) and Space 1999. Chapter 1 will be a simplistic meld with very little CG rendered glue. The plotline will begin with NASA footage from Apollo 11 mission. Battlestar Galactica episode "The Hand of God". At the end of the Galactica sequence it picks up from the famous landing of Apollo 11. A camera pan reveals Space 1999 Eagle taking off and shows the moon breaking out of Earth Orbit. At the end, they appear to be listening to a broadcast from Commander Adama during the scene where he is explaining his intent on finding Earth. This is of course out of the Battlestar Galactica episode "Saga of a Star World".
